Active Ingredients:
  • Capsicum tincture: 0,33 ml
  • Iodine tincture: 0,33 ml
  • Excepient: Vinegar extract q.s: 1 ml
Indication:
Alopecia Areata
An autoimmune disorder in which the immune system attacks hair follicles on the scalp and elsewhere on the body resulting in one or more round patches of hair loss. It affects both genders and can progress to alopecia totalis(total scalp hair loss) or alopecia universalis(complete body hair loss).
Mechanism of action:
Peladerme is a topical irritant that,when applied to the skin,results in itching,stinging and eventually hair growth.In alopecia areata ,the hair follicles remain alive and are ready to resume normal hair production whenever they receive the appropriate signal.
Administration:
Once daily for 30 to 40 days extended if necessary.
Side Effects:
Burning sensation and redness of the treated area.
Contraindications:
Large areas of hair loss
Alopecia Areata affecting the eyebrows and the eyelashes
Allergy to one of the ingredients
Alopecia totalis
Alopecia universalis.
Storage:
Do not store above 30°c.
